How to Unstake
Step 1: Connect your Wallet
Visit https://splashing.xyz and connect the wallet from which you deposited your SEI into the stake.
Step 2: Go to the withdrawal tab and select the withdrawal method and the amount you want to withdraw.
You will have two options to choose from for withdraw
Instant Unstake - access your funds immediately with our buffer pool, avoiding the 21-day unstaking period on SEI.
Unstake - you must go through a 21-day unbonding period, after which you will be able to receive your SEI.
Instant Unstake
Click on Instant Unstake
Enter the amount to withdraw
Click the Withdraw button
Approve your transaction
Click “Confirm” in your wallet to proceed further.
Instantly after confirmation, $SEI will be transferred to your wallet.
Once the transaction has been confirmed on the network, you will receive a confirmation pop-up window showing your transaction details.
Mechanics:
When you choose Instant Unstake, the system uses the Buffer Pool.
Your $spSEI is exchanged for SEI directly from this pool, and you immediately receive SEI in your wallet.
There is a dynamic fee that depends on how full the Buffer Pool is.
Unstake (Regular)
Click on Unstake
Enter the amount to withdraw
Click the Withdraw button
Confirmation window before Regular Unstake
Click Begin unstake process
Approve your transaction
image (1).png Click “Confirm” in your wallet to proceed further.
Mechanics:
When you choose Unstake, your tokens are sent into a 21-day unbonding period.
You do not pay an unstake fee (except for standard gas fees).
Your SEI is temporarily unavailable for use during this period.
After this period ends, you will be able to withdraw your SEI without any additional fees.
Step 3: Claim after Regular Unstake
When you choose Regular Unstake, your SEI is not returned instantly.
It only becomes available after the unbonding period is completed.
After initiating Unstake, a ticket (Ticket ID) with the amount of SEI and a timer appears in the Claim tab.
The timer shows how much time is left until the unlock (for example - 20d 3h 44m).
After 21 days, the button will become active, and you will be able to click ‘’Claim’’ to transfer SEI back to your wallet.
